Courtney's Fruit Medley

My daughter came up with this mix herself tonight. The juicer is getting a LOT of use!

Add to your juicer:

1 Pear
1 Kiwi
1 Peach
1 Pluot
Handful of Seedless Grapes
1 Red Delicious Apple

Pears are one of the HIGHEST fiber fruits, helping you stay regular and feel full. The fiber can help keep cholesterol down. Pears contain a fair amount of vitamins C, K, B2, B3, and B6. For expecting or nursing moms, they also contain folate. And, it is a hypoallergenic fruit so people with food allergies can usually tolerate pears without adverse effects.

Kiwi has more Vitamin C than an orange! Kiwi protects DNA in the nucleus of human cells from oxygen-related damage. The antioxidants in Kiwi protect from Respiratory illness-GREAT for people with breathing problems!

Peaches are a rich source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidant and other chemical contents. They contribute to eye health due to Beta carotene. They benefit skin care from the Vitamin C content which is used for dark circles and wrinkles!

Pluots contain fewer calories for their volume. They provide bulk without excess calories which can control your weigh and can help control appetite. They contain a good amount of fiber which passes slowly through your digestive system, making you feel full longer!

Grapes are a low GI food that is great for diabetics! Several grape phytonutrients are now believed to play a role in longevity-meaning a longer life!

Apples contain disease fighting antioxidants and are full of fiber! Chewing apples can reduce tooth decay because of saliva production which reduces bacteria levels in the mouth. Higher levels of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine can help prevents Alzheimer's Disease! Apples also contain Flavenols which can help prevent cancer!
